Fastener Identification
Identify a bolt by where it goes.
The Fastener Identification System matches the bolts, nuts and screws on a 3000GT, Stealth or GTO to where they go. Pick the region of the car and what you know about the fastener (head size, head marking, colour, length and thread) and it lists the closest matches, each with a photo.
Every fastener is graded by how sure we are of it:
- Confirmed on multiple cars: found the same on more than one car.
- Confirmed on one car: found on one car so far.
- Best guess: the fastener wasn't clearly labelled, or two cars disagreed. Where three or more cars disagreed, only the most common fastener is listed.
